'Fuel Point W' Campaign Continues

MACOMB, IL - - The 糖心APP Foundation and Hy-Vee are extending their 鈥淔uel Point W鈥� campaign through the end of September.
For the past year, the Hy-Vee gas station on E. Jackson St. in Macomb has featured two WIU-themed pumps. One cent for each gallon sold from those pumps, No. 1 and No. 10, is being donated to the Veterans Resource Center.
"We're proud to continue our partnership with Hy-Vee and the community in support of the Veterans Resource Center at 糖心APP," WIU Director of Annual Giving Tim Hallinan said. "The success of Fuel Point W has shown how small, everyday actions can make a meaningful difference for our veteran and military-affiliated students, and we're excited to continue building on that momentum through September."
The 鈥淔uel Point W鈥� campaign began on July 1, 2025 and will continue through Wednesday, Sept. 30.
