How To Get Involved

Student Government Association Positions

The Student Government Association is organized into two branches: the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch, which work together to write legislation to improve our campus. Check out the list of Executive Branch positions and Legislative Branch positions, or contact the SGA President for more information.

SGA Committees

At ÌÇÐÄAPP, there are many committees that actively seek student voices. These committees vary in focus and time commitment, allowing students to find opportunities that match their interests. For more information, contact sga@wiu.edu.

Senators-at-Large

The WIU Student Government Association has two voting member seats in the Senate designated for Senators-at-Large (SAL). These representatives serve the entire student body and work to address campus-wide concerns. For more information, contact the SGA President.

Council on Student Elections and Representation

The Council on Student Elections and Representation (CSER) oversees and evaluates the SGA election process. Members collaborate to review election rules, monitor candidates, and ensure fair election procedures. Meeting times are determined based on student availability. All members must be in good academic and judicial standing with the University. For more information, contact the Attorney General.
